#2 Catch a Show

The Community Nutcracker at the Florida Theatre

Over 200 children from across the region perform in this wonderful classic each year. This Saturday night, support our young performing artists and enjoy this wonderful ballet celebrating its 24th year at the Florida Theatre. It is a wonderful First Coast holiday tradition!

#3 Good Sports

Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts

Get your tailgate on this weekend at Everbank Field to cheer on the Jags this Sunday. It is one of the last games of the season. Kickoff is at 1:00!

#4 Grab a Bite

Santa Brunch at Sweet Pete’s and Candy Apple Café

Grab a great lunch, some sweets, and tell Santa your holiday wishes this Saturday at the Candy Apple Café and Sweet Pete’s downtown. Santa will be there from 1-4, and while you are at it swing by the public library and check out some holiday reading for the kids! Reservations are required.

#5 Go Outside and Play

Winter is a Great Time for Beach Combing

With a lot less tourists out and about, winter is a wonderful time to go for a walk on the beach. You are far more likely to find treasures like sand dollars and sharks teeth with less combing competition! We love Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park….and bring your bike too. They have some great trails.
