#1 Weekend Warrior
It is officially after Labor Day, so therefore you can shamelessly start decorating for the fall season. Here are some tips on how to make the most of your porch in celebration of the welcome change of weather.
#2 Catch a Show
Looking for an epic comedy show to have good laugh? Bobcoat Goldthwait is performing this weekend both Saturday night and Sunday night at the Comedy Club of Jacksonville. There are both early and late night performances, so you really have no excuse but to go have fun.
#3 Good Sports
Unless you have a loved one in the military, it is easy to forget the sacrifice our soldiers live and die by. This Friday, in remembrance of September 11, put on your running or walking shoes in patriotism for the 9/11 Heroes Run at the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach. Proceeds go to the Travis Manion Foundation, dedicated to supporting the lives of veterans, service men, and their families.
#4 Go Outside and Play
If you didn’t spend last weekend partying in St. Augustine for the 450th…no big deal. You can get your dose of history this weekend and take a road trip to Fort Matanzas. Only accessible by boat, it is a fascinating Spanish fort and national landmark.
