Event sponsors included Community First Credit Union, Hancock Bank, Hyperscreens,   Latitude 360, the LBA Group, Money Pages, Raymond James and Smith Hulsey & Busey law firm.

The young professionals board of BBBSNEFL, also known as the Big Leaders Board, was started in January 2014 and is comprised of 19 members who represent various educational and professional backgrounds. The Big Leaders Board focuses on three key areas: fundraising, awareness and recruitment.

Blake Sherman of FIS Global and current president of the Big Leaders Board was overwhelmed by the amount of support from the community, saying, “It’s really great to see so many people come out to support our first event! Seeing the excitement on so many kids’ faces when they see the  snow makes all of the hard work we put into planning this event really worthwhile. We’re hoping to make this an annual event for our community and to continue raising awareness for the need of mentors in our community.”
