The Lightner Museum showcases splendors of America’s Gilded Age in the heart of the nation’s oldest city. Built in 1887 as the Hotel Alcazar, the grand Spanish Renaissance-style icon exhibits costumes, furnishings, musical instruments, artworks and other artifacts from 19th century life, including Victorian glass works and other exquisite pieces by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
