If your family is looking for a good place to buy fresh, organic produce, Neptune Beach has just the thing. Every Saturday from 2-5 p.m. the Beaches Green Market hosts over a dozen vendors who sell produce, coffee roasters, organic dog treats, flowers, raw milk, meats and fresh bread.

Located in Jarboe Park at the intersection of A1A and Florida Boulevard, this market is a great place to pick up your week’s groceries and maybe a little treat for a special someone. Parking is available in the park and in the business park called Park Place directly beside the market.

Live music gives life to the market, whether it is raining or bright sunshine.

Every season brings new and different veggies and fruits to the market. Throughout the year, the offerings may change, but at least you know that the produce is fresh and you can always try something new.

The Beaches Green Market is run by a volunteer council, the Beaches Local Food Network, and works closely alongside the Beaches Community Garden, also in Jarboe Park. The community can rent out small plots to grow plants in their own garden.
