Bloody Punch is a popular Halloween special at the Palace Saloon in Fernandina Beach – Florida’s oldest saloon. Made from a 95-year old highly guarded secret recipe, it’s made in 55 gallon batches with seven different liquors, bartender Johnny Miller says. It’s a take-off of Pirate’s Punch, the saloon’s year round signature drink. “At Halloween we drizzle it with grenadine,” Miller says. “To make it look like it’s bleeding.”
