In downtown St. Augustine, S.O.S. Antiques offers nautical antiques, treasure coins, shipwreck antiques, jewelry and antiques from St. Croix, St. Thomas, and the Florida coasts. Many of the items are rare or one-of-a-kind. It’s an interesting and fun place to work, manager Mimi Ickes says. “I never know what will come in,” she says. “And I get to meet a lot of treasure hunters and hear salty stories.”
