The Sons of Israel Synagogue has been a house of worship here on the First Coast for over 90 years. It was founded by Ashkenazic Jews that fled religious persecution in Russian and Eastern Europe in the early 1900s. Located at 161 Cordova Street, it is one of the oldest continuous Jewish temples in Florida.
